2026-27 Intensive Team Information
NEW This year we are bringing back Gems Intensive Team auditions.
You may be just the perfect student to audition if:

-
You understand the urgency behind persistent attendance
-
Show an exemplary work ethic
-
Have a positive attitude towards yourself and those around you
-
Go above and beyond to show respect for your teachers, classmates and the art of dance.
-
If you have more than 6 absences in any one class, then you need to work on your attendance in order to be considered. You must be committed for showing up for you team.
-
If you are interested we encourage you to talk to your teacher about it.
-
Auditions are open to any student ages 9 (by September 1st) and older and should be taking ballet and jazz.
-
If you do well at the auditions and you meet the description above then understand that you will need to either attend the 8 weeks of summer classes on Tuesday or attend at least 3 of the one day intensives throughout the summer. This is to keep up on your skills.
-
Intensive Camp August 10-14, 2026 from 9am-5pm is Mandatory!
Auditions are Friday June 5, 2026 at 5pm
There will be a meeting going on in the lobby for any new parents or returning parents with questions about the team, the commitment level and the costs. We will post the audition results by June 12. We will need an acceptance or decline by June 19 so we can start planning and working on choreography as that will start at Intensive camp.

Why do the team? They will learn the value of discipline, hard work and how to work as a team. They understand what it means to be supported by friends, who cheer for you when you do great and when you struggle.
